Sem samo hotela poudarit, da sem nekoč na netu naletela na informacijo, da je SD (specially denatured alcohol) nežnejši do kože kot nek drug alkohol, ampak v prejšnjem sporočilu sem nekaj zamešala, ker sd je očitno samo nekakšna verzija denat. Je pa res malo boljši od etilnega:
"Alcohol SD-40: sometimes listed as SD Alcohol 40 and synomymous with alcohol SDA-40, it is a high grade purified cosmetic alcohol. Evaporates instantly, so it is used as a vehicle to transport important ingredients to the skin?s surface and then leave them there; gentler to the skin than ethyl (rubbing) alcohol. May help kill bacteria."
Ali pa:
"This highly purified form of alcohol is used in cosmetics as a vehicle to deliver ingredients to the skin s surface. SD Alcohol evaporates almost instantly, which makes it an ideal base for fragrances and toner/astringents. It also doesn t stay on your skin long enough to harm it ? though you will feel some stinging on cuts or freshly shaven skin before it vanishes completely"
Sicer pa je to zame čisto nerelevantno, ker ne bi nikoli uporabljala na svoji koži izdelka, ki vsebuje kakršenkoli alkohol (niti pijem ga ne). Sem pač pomislila, da če nekdo tako ali tako uporablja take izdelke, ne glede na to, da vemo, da alkohol ni fajn za kožo (pa niti za organizem v celoti, če ga zaužiješ), ga bodo take informacije zanimale.
p.s.: je pa res, da se etanol ("pravi" alkohol) in etilni alkohol, bolj redko pojavljata v kozmetiki, SD, benzyl, isopropyl itd. pa zelo pogosto.
