We?ve all seen it on the catwalks recently. Smoky eyes are in! If you have been wondering how to re-create this look for yourself, then help is here. Below is a look that makes the most of the eye make-up everybody?s talking about.
What you Need:
*Matt foundation
*Concealer
*Translucent powder
*Soft pink blush
*Warm mid brown eyeshadow
*Dark brown eyeshadow
*Black-brown mascara
*Pale pink lipstick
*Clear lip gloss
*Make-up brushes
1. Apply matt foundation using a sponge. This will give you a nice, matt, sophisticated base.
2. Conceal any under eye bags or blemishes
3. Dust translucent powder over the foundation. This will soak up any excess oil and help your base stay in place for longer.
4. Dust the soft pink blush onto your cheekbones. The eyes look stunning when everything else is muted!
5. Apply the warm mid brown eyeshadow all over the base of your eyelids with an make-up brush
6. Wet your make-up brush. Carefully, draw a right-angled shape along the crease of your eyelid and down the outer corner side of your eye. This can be as wide as you like, depending on the intensity of the look you want.
7. Still using a wet brush, line underneath your lower lashes using the dark brown eyeshadow.
8. Apply 2 coats of black-brown mascara
9. Apply the pale pink lipstick using a lip brush. Then, blot it.
10. Apply clear lip gloss over the top.
TIPS:
*If you find the eyes look to harsh for you, you could dust a little translucent powder over them to soften the look.
*If pale pink lips simply make you look ill, try a nude lipstick or just plain clear lip gloss instead.
*This look looks even better if your eyebrows are in tip-top shape. However, if it?s the night before the big party and yours aren?t exactly to model standard, try slicking them into place using Vaseline, clear mascara or an eyebrow gel. If there are gaps in your eyebrows where hairs really should be, dust over them with a little bit of matching eyeshadow.
*If you think you have over done it on the blush, dust over your cheeks using a little translucent powder.
*Alternatively, if you think you look too pale, wait until you have finished applying the rest of your make-up before putting more blush on. If this still doesn?t look right, try opting for a deeper shade of pink.
*Any new look is fairly difficult at first so make sure you practice first before trying it for a big night out!
