Ko sem bil mlad sva se z mamo večkrat prepirala

Natočim si kozarec alkohola in se spominjam, kajti skozi vso to dramo
Sem se vedno lahko zanesel na svojo mamo
In tudi takrat ko sem izgubil upanje nad vsem
Si vedno znala izbrati besede ki so mi pomagale pridobiti pravo perspektivo
Ko sem bil bolan kot otrok
Ni bilo mej za stvari, ki si jih naredila zame zato da bi me osrečila
Vsi moji spomini na otroštvo so polni lepih stvari ki si jih storila zame
In kljub temu da se obnašam noro
Se moram zahvaliti Gospodu da si me naredila
Ne obstajajo besede z katerimi bi lahko izrazil svoja čustva
Nikoli nisi imela skrivnosti pred menoj, vedno si ostala na stvarnih tleh
Cenim način na katerega si me vzgojila
In vso dodatno ljubezen ki si mi jo dala
Želim da bi lahko vzel tvojo bolečino

Pesem o punci, ki jo zapelje fant, ona zanosi, ko on to izve jo zapusti in se ji odreče. Ona se ubije in prosi da ji na grob dajo divjo grlico, ker ta predstavlja smrt zaradi ljubezni.

Najbolj žalosten se mi pa zdi del kjer fantazira o temu da bi vsaj njen otrok bil srečen z očetom, medtem ko bi ona bila mrtva.
